The Real Truth About Life
By: Carolyn Yang

When I read the essay, i believe that it was totally true. I agree with it because I don't think that you would want a life chosen for you. Each individual is different, and their career changes too. There are many options for a person, and that person has the right to choose what he or she wants to do. In my life, I would want the right to choose on how I want to go about life, not someone nagging me on how to do things. But that is how I would want things.

My life, although it seems like I would have the life like this, is totally different. My mom gives me options and I like it. She doesn't restrict me on anything. If I have an idea, she would want me to first consider it, and after than I could want to do it or not. With this in mind, my life is going prretty smoothly.

My interests in life are pretty random. I have many different interest and I like them all. Like, for instance, piano. I used to hate after years of piano lessons, but now I like it. For restrictions upon myself, I would not like it. If everything that I did was carefree, then I would live a better life. But if there were no restrictions, I would not get this far anyway. So restrictions are good in a way.

When I am inspired to do something, i would not want that inspiration to go away. For instance, I felt an inspiration to start my driver's ed, and I finished it. Now I have to get my permit, and then get my license. Inspiration comes and goes, but I can deal with it.
